When my young, professional clients purchased this top floor converted Victorian 2 bedroom apartment in 2020, the layout didn’t flow and the interior decoration was tired and outdated. They commissioned me to modernise the property to reflect how they wished to live in the space, whilst still retaining and highlighting some original features. The result is a contemporary, light filled space with areas to entertain and relax. A mixture of materials creates layers of interest and texture and the clean lines used throughout allows for a feeling of calm and order. A minimal palette of black, white and grey is punctuated with accent colours of blue, green and rust with oak used to warm and add natural textures to the space.
